About the role

As an Account Executive at GeneralMind, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth by owning the sales process from first pitch to close.

You will be deeply embedded in the go-to-market motion, working hand in hand with marketing, product, sales ops, and founders to sharpen our approach and move fast.

As part of an early and ambitious sales team, you will help shape and scale our go-to-market approach across international markets.

You will operate at the intersection of AI, SaaS, and operational excellence (e.g. supply chain), and become AI-native by leveraging AI tools to maximise your performance.

What you will do

  • Own the full sales process across mid-market and enterprise accounts, from initial outreach and discovery through demo, negotiation, and close.
  • Build genuine relationships with operational buyers and enterprise stakeholders, developing a deep understanding of their workflows, pain points, and decision-making structures.
  • Translate complex product value into clear business outcomes, making the case for AI automation in operational environments to buyers who may be unfamiliar with the category.
  • Partner closely with marketing, product, and founders, feeding market insights back into messaging, positioning, and roadmap priorities as we refine our GTM approach.
  • Maintain clean pipeline management and accurate forecasting in CRM tools, bringing structure and discipline to how we track and develop deals.
  • Use AI tools actively to improve outreach quality, call preparation, and conversion rates, and help establish what AI-native selling looks like at GeneralMind.
  • Contribute to building and iterating our sales playbook, sharing learnings openly and helping the team improve collectively.

What we are looking for

  • 6+ years of professional experience in a demanding environment such as top-tier management consulting, venture capital, a high-growth startup, or B2B SaaS sales.
  • Ability to understand complex products and operational processes quickly, and communicate their value to non-technical buyers.
  • Comfortable owning relationships with enterprise stakeholders across operations, IT, and leadership.
  • Structured and analytical approach to pipeline management, outreach, and deal progression.
  • Strong curiosity for AI tools and a genuine willingness to integrate them into your day-to-day workflow.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where you are expected to build, not just execute.
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English; additional languages are a plus.
