About the role
As a Sales Development Representative at GeneralMind, you'll be the tip of the spear, responsible for opening doors to the companies we want to work with.
You'll research accounts, write sharp outbound copy, and book qualified meetings for our sales team.
This isn't a "smile and dial" SDR seat. You'll be the engine behind our outbound motion, owning pipeline generation across our target markets in the UK, US, DACH, and Europe. You'll work directly with founders and the growth team to test what works, move fast, and turn early signals into a repeatable, scalable outbound machine.
We're building an AI-native sales motion, proactively identifying ways to leverage AI to sharpen our outreach, accelerate our workflow, and contribute to GeneralMind's culture of high-velocity execution.
What you will do
- Own the full prospecting pipeline, from identifying to converting leads through phone, email, and social channels.
- Test and implement innovative outbound and inbound strategies, and share what works with the team.
- Develop a deep understanding of our product, market, and customers to engage decision-makers with sharp, relevant messaging.
- Conduct market research to identify high-potential B2B accounts and develop compelling sales materials.
- Create and refine call scripts and outreach templates; run internal training sessions and workshops to upskill the team.
What we are looking for
- 1+ year of experience in sales, with a strong interest in B2B outbound across the UK, US, DACH, and Europe.
- Proven track record in outbound prospecting: cold calls, email outreach, and LinkedIn.
- Strong English communication skills (fluent); German or other languages are a plus.
- Experience with CRM and sales engagement tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Outreach, or similar).
- Background in B2B SaaS or enterprise software sales.
- Experience engaging enterprise customers or large organizations.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, target-driven environments with a high tolerance for rejection.
- Curiosity-driven, always looking to learn, improve, and build.
