About GeneralMind
GeneralMind builds autonomous AI systems that operate enterprise workflows across emails, documents, ERP systems, and human decision loops. We’re building the operational layer between humans and the real economy: AI systems that don’t just assist, but actually execute work.
In less than a year, we’ve gone from 0 → dozens of enterprise customers, including DAX and NASDAQ-listed companies. We expect to grow aggressively over the next 12 months and are building a small, elite team in Berlin to help us get there.
Our team includes ex-unicorn founders, engineers who have operated systems at massive scale, and colleagues from places like Stanford, Princeton, ETH, TUM, Coinbase, McKinsey, and Razor Group.
How We Work
We are highly execution-focused and operate with a high degree of ownership and intensity.
This is an onsite role in Berlin. We believe the level of speed, collaboration, and product iteration we want is best achieved in person.
Product development at GeneralMind is deeply AI-native. We expect product leaders to actively use AI tools in their daily work: research, prototyping, analysis, workflow design, specification writing, customer synthesis, and operational problem solving. The goal is not to replace product judgment, but to dramatically increase leverage and iteration speed.
This environment works well for people who:
- enjoy moving fast
- want significant ownership
- like hard technical and operational problems
- are comfortable with ambiguity
- care deeply about product quality and execution
- want to shape the future direction of the company early
The Role
We are looking for a Product Lead who can operate at the intersection of enterprise operations, AI systems, and platform product strategy.
You’ll work closely with customers, founders, and engineering teams to understand how large enterprises actually operate: ERP systems, supply chain workflows, approvals, exceptions, emails, spreadsheets, and fragmented operational processes.
This is not a traditional roadmap management role. A core part of the job is identifying the reusable platform hidden underneath customer-specific operational problems. You’ll help determine:
- what becomes a platform capability
- what stays customer-specific
- where configuration ends and engineering begins
- where AI can reliably automate workflows
- where humans should remain in the loop
German communication skills are preferred, as much of the operational context and customer collaboration happens directly with German enterprises.
What you will do
- Working directly with enterprise customers to deeply understand operational workflows and pain points
- Translating customer realities into scalable product and platform decisions
- Defining roadmap priorities across platform, workflow, and AI capabilities
- Collaborating closely with engineering teams on architecture and product tradeoffs
- Driving product thinking around AI agents, workflow orchestration, and enterprise operations
- Identifying recurring patterns across customers and turning them into reusable product abstractions
- Helping define the long-term platform strategy of the company
- Improving how we capture, operationalize, and learn from customer feedback
What we are looking for
- Strong product thinking and systems intuition
- Deep understanding of enterprise operations, supply chain workflows, or ERP systems
- Ability to operate effectively in highly technical environments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to balance customer needs with long-term platform strategy
- Strong ownership mentality and execution focus
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-moving startup environments
- Fluency in German and English
- Excitement about AI-native products and autonomous systems
We especially value people who can recognize generalized product opportunities inside messy operational workflows and make strong platformization decisions.
Nice-to-Haves
- Supply chain, ERP, or enterprise operations experience
- SAP integration or process knowledge
- Experience in AI products, workflow automation, or process mining
- Background in highly technical product organizations
- Exposure to forward-deployed engineering or enterprise platform companies
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on platform architecture decisions
Why Join
We believe enterprise software is about to be rebuilt around autonomous systems.
The operational backbone of large companies still runs on emails, spreadsheets, ERP systems, approvals, and fragmented workflows. We think AI-native systems will fundamentally change that over the next decade.
The people joining GeneralMind now will have disproportionate impact on the product direction, platform architecture, and operational capabilities of the company. You’ll work on unusually hard real-world problems alongside a small, highly capable team with very large ambition.
If you want to help shape one of Europe’s most ambitious AI companies from Berlin, we’d love to talk.
